How do I get my work in the magazine?

Everyone is welcome to submit an illustration for edtn. You can use brushes, pencils or a mouse or any technique you like to create your masterpiece - but we must receive your submission in an electronic file format. Generally, we don't accept photographic works.

What size should I make my work?

Its pretty simple, just follow the spec below...
Size: 85mm x 220mm plus 3mm bleed (double page spread).
Oriantation: Landscape or Portrait, its your choice!
Colours: 2 x PMS colours TBA

What's the deal with the colours?

Edtn. is printed in two set colours . The colours change every issue, keep reading for more.

What else do I need to know?

You must submit a lo res jpg by the issue deadline. We contact finalists for the "raw" file and further instructions.

What are the details for the next issue?

Issue 03 is coming out at the end of May. We're currenty organising an exhibition (details online soon), so right now, we just can't be thinking about Issue 04. As soon as the current projects finish up, we'll post the details. Email us with any further questions.

If my work is published, do I get paid?

You don't get paid for contributing, but you will enjoy good exposure. The zine is sold and distributed all over the world, plus you're piece will be credited on the edtn. website, and probably featured elsewhere. Sales pay for printing and distribution (the project is not designed to make profit).
